Future programming environment
There is still little use of ROS in Finland, but it should be invested in the future if we are to keep up with robot software development. There has also been an increasing shift in product development towards robots being ROS natives rather than mere connectivity.
ROS saves you time
The advantage of ROS is that it is based on open source and contains ready-made software components. This means, for example, countless hours saved in the manufacture of a mobile robot. In addition, ROS's close integration with the simulation world is an important advantage.
Currently, ROS training is limited in Finland. Some universities offer courses in the ROS environment, but such as the one designed by SAMK is not available elsewhere.
ROS refers to a robot software environment that combines various existing component functions on a single platform.
The challenge has been addressed with Agenttisi.fi, a service produced locally. It is an independent and free service for all Satakunta residents who brings together Satakunta's industry, technology and IT summer jobs and internships in one place.
The service works in such a way that its intelligent algorithm combines the most relevant applicant profiles with the needs of employers. Both job companies and job seekers enter their data into the service.
